Music bingo › The seventies
The seventies are a generous decade for music bingo, because so much existed side by side. Stadium rock and singer-songwriters, glam rock and the first disco records, and running right through it all the local bands that made the charts.
The app comes with a ready-made playlist called Golden Years, full of the big hits from those golden years. Pick that list, or build your own by pasting a playlist from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music or Deezer. Typing the songs in yourself works too.

Golden Years is the fastest route to a full evening: pick it and play. The list runs from the late sixties well into the seventies, so if you want to stay strictly in the 1970s, add the songs you are missing yourself. The Bingo Master plays 30 seconds of every track, with a 3-second gong in between.
Put Queen and Pink Floyd next to Elton John and Fleetwood Mac, and slip in the one-hit wonders everybody still knows. That mix keeps every guest in the game, including the ones who only ever heard the radio edits. For an hour of play you need about 110 songs, for ninety minutes 164.
A seventies bingo suits a 50th or 60th birthday, a reunion or a theme party with album sleeves on the wall. Print the cards two per A4 with cut lines, or let guests play on their own phone through bingobanger.party with the game code from the host.
Rather not hunt for songs? The app has Golden Years waiting, curated and checked for playable previews. Open it, start it, play. Pasting your own playlist still works too.
For inspiration: these are songs that tend to work well with this theme. You are not tied to any of them — you build your own list, so use them, extend them or ignore them completely.
A link from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music or Deezer, or type your own list of songs. The app collects the titles and removes duplicates.
The app works out how many songs you need and picks the card size.
Two cards per A4 with cut lines, with a matching emoji above every title, plus a checklist for the host.
The Bingo Master plays the recognizable part of every song and verifies each bingo through the card code.
The radio hits of the decade: rock, glam rock, ballads and the first disco records, plus the local bands that charted at the time.
Yes, the Golden Years playlist in the app. Pick it and you can play immediately. Pasting or typing your own list works just as well.
About 55 for half an hour, 110 for an hour and 164 for ninety minutes of play.
