Disco music bingo: the disco classics on the bingo card

Disco is built on recognition. Four bars of bass, a string line on top and the room already knows what is coming. That is why the genre works so well for music bingo: nobody has to think, everybody sings along from the first second.

You do not have to build the list yourself. The app comes with a ready-made playlist called Disco Bingo: pick it and go. Prefer your own selection? Paste a playlist from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music or Deezer, or type the songs in yourself.

Music bingo for company parties, weddings, clubs, pubs and care homes

Pick the Disco Bingo playlist

You will find Disco Bingo among the ready-made lists in the app. It holds the songs that turn up at every party, from Hot Stuff to Le Freak. The Bingo Master plays 30 seconds of each song, with a 3-second gong in between, so everyone has time to scan the card and cross a square off.

How many songs, and how big the card gets

For half an hour of play you need about 55 songs, for an hour 110 and for ninety minutes 164. The card size scales with your list: a small pool gives you 3x3, a medium one 4x4 and a large one 5x5. There is nothing to work out yourself.

From the card to the dance floor

Print the cards on A4, two per sheet with cut lines, and put a stack on every table. If you would rather skip the paper, let your guests play on their own phone: they go to bingobanger.party and type in the game code. You as the host need the app; they do not.

Or grab the ready-made list

Rather not hunt for songs? The app has Disco Bingo and Sleezy Disco waiting, curated and checked for playable previews. Open it, start it, play. Pasting your own playlist still works too.
